Sour Cream Pastry
Smooth pastry made with beautiful sour cream
Ingredients:

1/3 cup Maleny Dairies Sour Cream
-
1 and 1/4 cups of plain flour

150g Unsalted Butter

Method:

​​Preheat the oven to 200°C
-
Chop the butter into squares.

In a bowl, rub the flour and butter with your fingertips.

Using a butter knife, combine the sour cream into the mix.

Knead until mixed in
-
Roll the pastry out onto a lightly floured surface until 4cm thick.
-
Line a pie tin with baking paper and place the pastry on the tin.
-
Blind bake for 15 minutes then remove pie weights and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
